TRANSITION TOWARDS ABSTRACT

3-Day Weekend Workshop
Dates: October 18, 19, 20
Times: 10:00am to 2:00pm
Includes: Lunch Break
Tuition: $270 Members | $300 Non-Members
Location: Vanderveer Studio

This workshop is designed for those with some experience with drawing, color use and composition who now want to begin exploring the road to abstraction. Students will come prepared with examples of drawings, paintings, collage or photographs that will be used as starting points for ways in which to consider composition, a vital aspect of abstract work. Celebrated artist examples will be discussed. Students will spend more time dealing with the processes involved. They will discover that even if it appears to be easy, finding resolve requires patience and much trial and error. If abstraction is the direction you wish to explore, start here. Materials list will be provided upon registration.
