Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced students will discover and explore basic traditional and contemporary watercolor techniques. This course will have a focus on traditional wet-on-dry techniques. Beginning students will learn how to use basic watercolor tools, techniques and design concepts to create their own paintings. Experienced painters will get a chance to enrich their work with ever more challenging projects or experimental approaches. Lots of demos, handouts, and feedback will aid each student and help them achieve their goals in the class.
We will create a lot of design and color studies as well as several small or modestly sized paintings.
