DEVELOPING CREATIVE WATERCOLORS FROM PHOTOS & SKETCHES

For painters, photographs can be just SO VERY helpful; sometimes they can also be a bit of a curse too!

And most of us have a really hard time using a sketch to help us prepare for painting. So, let’s explore using the photo and sketches to help us paint watercolors with much more assurance and greater creativity in this four-week course. We will un-chain ourselves from the eye of the camera and unlock our visual world! Bring some of your favorite photos (maybe still on your camera, smartphone, or ipad/tablet?) … and of course your standard watercolor supplies. There will be lots of demos and feedback to help each student achieve their goals in the class.

For the near beginner to the more advanced students who have had at least some experience with watercolor painting.
