Beverley Street Studio School is thrilled to have Scott Noel, former professor at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, return for a pastel workshop April 11 – 13th.

Join us in the BSSS Gallery for a FREE public talk Friday April 11 at 5pm. Scott will bring his own pastel drawings and use them to discuss his approach to working in pastel. Work will be available for sale.

Saturday and Sunday will be a two day workshop from 10am – 4pm each day.  Beginners are welcome. Participants can expect to watch demos, receive instruction and individual critiques while working from a live model. Unlike watercolor, pastel is a very forgiving medium that allows easy correction by scraping, blending or just drawing over previous marks.
