In this three-day workshop, participants will develop a series of paintings and studies working from the still life in context with the figure. This workshop will encourage students to learn to work from observation and invention in service of their painting.
We will look at, and study, paintings from the past in order to inform the development of each painting during the three days. Participants will gain a strong knowledge and appreciation for
analyzing works of art to apply to their own paintings to arrive at a painting attuned to their individual perceptive experience.
