FIGURE DRAWING: CONTE ON TONED PAPER

Dates: February 6, 13, 20, 27 | March 6
Times: Thursdays | 1:00pm to 4:00pm
Tuition: $250 Members | $280 Non-Members

This class will be an introduction to drawing the human figure using Conte crayon on Toned paper. Each class session will consist of a brief lecture and demo, then moving quickly into guided drawing from the model.
The class will generally be focused on three aspects of figure drawing; dynamic gesture, sound proportions, and planar masses.

Materials list:
White and Black Conte crayon
Vine Charcoal
Toned drawing paper, in the 16×20-18×24 size range
No intense toned colors, Strive for a medium value toned paper (not too dark, not too light)
Kneaded erase
