Artists Schedule

Subject to slight changes as plans are confirmed

Tuesday, April 17 – Registration, housing assignments, evening lecture in community location.

Wednesday, April 18 – Paint on the internationally renowned Polyface Farm! Farm features animals, barns, and the rolling landscape of Augusta County. Boxed lunch optional. End with an evening dinner on the farm with BSSS Board of Directors, sponsors, and key volunteers.

Thursday, April 19 – Paint at the recently renovated and newly opened Blackburn Inn. First professional afternoon artist demonstration and open-to-the-public lecture to take place on location. Meals not provided. Other private properties in the county and public attractions in the city of Staunton will be painting location options during the morning.

Friday, April 20 – Paint Staunton Art Competition and Pop-Up Show and Sale. Open to the public. Juror Fred Nichols to choose first and second prize in three categories: professional, amateur, and 16 and Under. Second professional artist demonstration.

Saturday, April 21 – Paint on the locations of the Staunton/Augusta Garden Club Tour in Middlebrook. Festival culminates in an evening Gallery show and sale.

Sunday, April 22 – Show and sale continues in the morning, art pick up in the afternoon. One-day Workshop by event juror, Nancy Tankersley.
